If you’re ready to make major shifts and learn how to change your life in 30 days, then keep reading
This post is all about How to Change Your Life in 30 Days
When I was 28 years old I left my job (I was managing a fragrance boutique) and went back to school for event management. Within the first few months of school my partner at the time, whom I relied on financially because I was now a student, broke up with me.
Prior to us dating we were best friends for five years, so losing them also meant losing my best friend and the entire friend group that came with them. After a year of unhealthy coping mechanisms and going back and forth we cut off all contact and I hit a breaking point in my personal growth journey.
I knew that I had to make a change, I couldn’t rely on drinking and suppressing my emotions anymore. I decided to go all in on my personal development, started seeing a therapist weekly, and committed to 30 straight days of self-care.
That 30-day personal growth challenge kicked off what became years of deep personal development and spiritual work. After learning more about gratitude and self-care I’ve made my own version of the challenge to share with you!
Identifying Your Dream Life
If we are going to change your life, we must first identify what your dream life even looks like! We all want to build a life that we don’t feel like the need to escape from, what does that life look like for you? Download my free “Mapping Your Dream Life” workbook and figure it out.
30 Day Challenge
Day One: Set Your Intention
With any new practice, it’s always important to set an intention. Setting an intention solidifies your “why” which is what will motivate you to continue your practice.
- Why do I feel called to do a 30-day self-care challenge?
- What am I hoping to receive from this challenge?
- Is gratitude and self-care something that comes easily to me right now? why or why not?
Make the commitment to yourself to honor your practice for the next month! State this commitment in your journal or verbalize it to yourself.
Day Two: Take an audit of the areas you’d like to change
The wheel of life is one of my favorite tools shared with me by my therapist, it’s an excellent way to see where you’re at and what areas of your life need improvement. If you downloaded the “Mapping your Dream Life” workbook you’ll see a copy of The Wheel of Life in there, otherwise, you can download “The Wheel of life” here.
Day Three – Thirty: 28-day Gratitude Glow Up Challenge
The last 28 days consist of a gratitude challenge. Gratitude is the currency of the universe, the more you practice gratitude for what you have, the more you’ll receive. Gratitude also has the power to strengthen your relationships, improve your mood, and even boost heart health.
What’s Next?
It’s time to take your growth journey beyond the thirty days! I would suggest doing the wheel of life once a quarter as a mental health check-in and finding daily growth practices that work within your routine.
