I dare you to imagine what life will look like after you take a break from alcohol ✨ Did you know that even just ONE alcoholic drink will keep your brain active throughout the night, preventing you from getting actual rest? (Yeah girl… I used to think passing out drunk was me getting a “good sleep”).

Clarity, energy, self compassion, deeper relationships, its all waiting for you on the other side! I like to say that moderation and/or sobriety will help you MAKE memories instead of LOSE them.

…and the best part? it doesn’t have to be “boring”. There are SO many NA options out there (some THC infused if you’re cali-sober), that your social life doesn’t have to go anywhere.

I totally get that sometimes it can feel uncomfortable navigating social situations sober, but I promise when you push through (and do the mindset work) you realize how much fun you can still have.

QUESTION! If you’re not drinking, can you hang out with friends who are? 🤔⬇️

I would say ABSOLUTELY but really that depends on you as an individual. Do you feel comfortable around alcohol and people who drink? only you can answer that, but for me it’s an absolutely and here’s why:

I know that I can have fun regardless of what’s in my glass. I’m not drinking to have fun, I AM fun.

I have friends who are comfortable with my choices, they don’t judge me and I don’t judge them. I could care less if people like to drink if that’s a choice they feel good about.

Confidence! When you feel confident in your decision not to drink it makes it a lot easier to be in environments where people are drinking.

There are an abundance of NA options and I know what my go to orders are, I don’t feel like I’m missing out in anyway.

One of my closest friends of nearly 15 years (God are we getting old?!) and her amazing fiance came to visit us this past weekend and we all had an amazing time even though I was not drinking alcohol.

There can be nuance when it comes to hanging out with friends, family or strangers who drink when you don’t.

I’m at a place where I feel super comfortable with this, but if you need some support comment “social” and I’ll send you a free survival guide on how to navigate social settings when you’re not drinking.
