Tapping into Your Dream Life with Gratitude

how to use gratitude t live your dream life

One of the most important tools in personal growth & development that often gets downplayed is gratitude. Tapping into gratitude in the small moments where your dream life feels tangible will pull your goals in faster (quantum leaps ya’ll!)

This post is all about Tapping into Your Dream Life with Gratitude

Personally, I used to be someone who was so angry and miserable all of the time (seriously I was a miserable b*tch). I may have appeared to be fun and happy and all those things but on the inside and with my closest friends and partner I was a mess. I was consistently comparing myself to other people, nothing ever felt good enough, and I was always complaining. This is something that a lot of people, specifically women, can relate to.

Women tend to set arbitrary goals for themselves, anticipating that they’ll achieve everything by the age of thirty. Husband? house? babies? check, check, check. These strict timelines put a lot of pressure on our lives and pressure on the relationships we’re forming during these years.

What we don’t understand is that this pressure and restrictive attitude is actually pushing our desires further away. If instead we tapped into gratitude and had trust that our desires were unfolding exactly as they were meant to, we would receive them so much faster.

Are you living your dream life?

To answer this question you first have to understand what your dream life is. Maybe you want to work remotely and make money while you’re traveling, or perhaps you want to be married and live in a house with a big property. What does your dream life look like?

Once you know what your dream life is, look for clues that it’s already on your way to you. Maybe you don’t work 100% remotely right now but you’re in a hybrid role. Instead of dwelling on the days you still need to go into the office, tap into those feelings of gratitude for the days you do get to work remotely.

Even if you’re not living your dream life right now, there are probably small moments within your day that are perfectly aligned with that vision. When you experience those moments it’s important that you feel immense gratitude for them. When we show our love and appreciation for something we’re telling the universe we’re a yes for that thing and we’re expanding and allowing more of it to enter into our lives.

Remember that the next time you’re experiencing a moment that is in alignment with your dream life, tap into the feeling of gratitude and it will expand!

Gratitude Practices for pulling in desires

1. Looking for Your Husband/Wife/Life Partner

Write down the love that you currently have in your life, who are your best friends? do you have close and loving relationships with certain family members? how about love for yourself? Analyze your list and think of ways to show them how you’re grateful for their love. Take yourself on a date, tell your loved ones you appreciate them, or do something thoughtful for a friend.

2. Manifesting Your Dream Job

How are you currently earning income? Can you be grateful for the financial stability that your current job(s) are providing you with? Make a list of all the things your current income source and income level are able to provide you with. Read the list out loud while stating that you’re grateful for it. Example: “I am so grateful that my job at the local bookstore allows me to afford my rent”, keep going until you make your way through your list.

3. Moving Into Your Dream Home

Maybe you’re not in your dream home yet but are there elements of your current place that you love? Maybe you’re actually really grateful for your king-size bed or the view from your home office. If you’re not really vibing with your current home at all could you rent a killer Airbnb for a weekend and feel immense gratitude for your accommodations?

4. Other Goals

Can you see how these methods could be applied to any area of your life? There is always something to be grateful for. No matter how far off your dream life may seem, you likely have one aspect of your life that is already aligned with that vision. Express gratitude and allow your life to expand.

my journey

about Leanna

I went from THE number one Party Girl in my friend group to Powerhouse

Hey friend, I’m Leanna! I like to call myself a “retired party girl” turned event planner and
community organizer. I started Sipping on Gratitude because when I first started partying less, I really struggled
in two areas of my life:
1. My friendships
2. My Personal Development

I very quickly realized that I never invested in the majority of my friendships beyond partying
together. I didn’t feel close or connected to the people in my life, I felt lonely and issolated.
I also carried a lot of guilt and shame around being “behind”, because I prioritized partying
over anything else I suddently found myself turning 30 without any of the major life milestones
checked off my list.

Sipping on Gratitude exists because it’s what I needed when I first start dabbling in moderation
and living a sober curious lifestyle. We provide personal development workshops and digital
resources, as well as access to a virtual community space and in-personal social events.

From developing compelling brand narratives to implementing cutting-edge digital strategies, I am dedicated to helping businesses grow and thrive. Whether you’re launching a new brand or looking to elevate an existing one, I bring a personalized touch to every project, tailoring solutions to meet your specific needs and goals.
